About Us
The diffent collective was formed because many things need to be accomplished: problems to solve, artifacts to create, themes to develop, conversations to engage in, theories to refine, performances to put on. Traditional education and corporations can breed unhealthy specialization, isolation, and misunderstanding. We at diffent want to bridge these differences, leverage them, amplify them, and refine and integrate them to come up with ideas, solutions, and artistry to improve the human condition. Or, just because we feel like it.
Our COLLECTIVE
We had gotten tired of people telling us "no." No, you can't do that. Impossible, impractical, too costly, not costly enough, please fill out this pile of forms, please tend to and water the bureaucracy until the day you keel over from boredom, it's so crazy it just might work but you are an idiot so it won't. Work, that is. You get the picture. We are all about How can it be done, not: How can we rationalize spending 8 hours a day and not creating anything of value or beauty even. Value, beauty: One?
